Service vs Pleasing
Recently I was a part of a webinar hosted by my British friend Jon Prince, The Perception Coach… (I quip to my family and friends that I often talk to English Prince)!
Jon’s webinar was titled serving rather than pleasing . My takeaway was that the reward of serving is the joy of unconditional service not serving just to please another person. The spin-off is that we builds self-esteem and enhance connections with the people we serve.
